This character is not mine. He belongs wholey and "soul"ly to When I asked her if i could do a little fan art of him she assured me she would love me forever if I did, so....

I was inspired to draw him after reading his background story here. It's called Pariah and, according to Miss Tsuki-no-Tsubasa, it is only one back story in a thread that she assures me she is working on.

I recommend it. The writing is very good and the characters interesting. The First Person POV is really cool when done right, as is exampled in her prose.

Threnody is interesting. Like many albinos his only natural coloring comes from his blood-tinted eyes...but the necklace also seemed to have a great deal of emotional significance in the story and so I was trying to draw attention to it as well. I designed a more stylized sun because, I don't know, it just appealed to me.

His expression is my attempt at drawing a bitter smile; my impression of the poor guy at the very end of the story (which, of course, is actually only the beginning of the bigger story) when destiny begins to rear it ugly head.

of course, has even cooler pics of Threnody and other important characters on her site so go see it and read the story. It isn't that long and it is worth it.
